Organizational Collaborations

Organizational Collaborations focuses on identifying and supporting organizations which seek to enhance parent and community involvement, and expand opportunities and venues where parent/caregiver/community voices can be integrated. The three components are:

  • The Organizational Hub provides a listing of known organizations and agencies interested in involving parents in advocacy opportunities; it creates an opportunity for parents to become aware of opportunities and for organizations to see how other organizations are engaging parents/caregivers; opportunities for matching or recruiting parents for specific roles will be identified in concert with the Participant Roster. Register to the Organizational Hub.
  • Advocacy Opportunities provides a description of various ways parents can become involved and engaged in advocating for their children, families and communities; this in essence a clearinghouse of ideas which provide another mechanism for encouraging parent/caregiver participation and for helping prepare both parents and organizations for effective engagement.
  • Organizational Support provides support by Lead4Tomorrow, as requested, to assist organizations seeking to enhance their capacity to engage parents and community members in leadership or advocacy roles; this may include conflict resolution, leadership, engaging parents in a manner that is trauma-informed and resilience-focused, as well as other requested topics.
